Windows explorer keeps crashing

    "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. "

    That is the error message i get every time I try and open any, folder / control panel / windows explorer / Internet explorer. I have re-installed xp (never formatted didn't wanna lose anything) still no joy.

    Can anyone please help?

    Hi Arie,

    I have already tried Adaware and Registry Mechanic and used House-Call from Trend-Micro but still no joy, still getting the same problems. It does not allow me to change my home page either, it stays at - "about;blank "

    Surely some guru out there can help? :confused:
