I am getting the message "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem etc.... ".

This usually happens after I have checked the Recycle Bin.
As I return to my screen, all the icons go "white ", then return to normal and the message appears.

I have done Spyware and Anti Virus scans and all is OK.

    Any ideas ?

    Hi Cranfield,
I edited your thread title to be more descriptive of the problem!

Thank you very much, it was a third part shell extension that appears to be misbehaving.
