Windows Explorer Constantly Refreshing

    My computer recently started misbehaving. When i open "My Computer" (windows explorer) the screen refreshes every 5 seconds or so. This only seems to happen when viewing "My Computer ". If i open one of my hard drives this refreshing stops until i go back to "My Computer ".

    Any ideas?

    P.S. I have run spyware and virus with no effect.
