Hi All,

I asked this question way back but I have lost the answer. :(
I know I need to change the registry settings but I want to open windows explore to just be at the root of C:
Can someone refresh my grey matter (matches the colour of my hair) what I need to put in the registry please. :)

Thanks

Cheers

This is not a registry edit but it works for me by editing the start-menu item properties for Windows Explorer as follows. (Right-click on the Windows Explorer start-menu item and select "Properties ".)

Target: %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e,C:\

Start in: %HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%

Can also create a shortcut for your Desktop/Quick Launch with those settings as well.
