    Where can I download the last WindowsDefender.msi to repair, modify or reinstall ?

    Because many users use a blue background, the blue icon was hard to see. I suspect they changed it to a white shield to make it easier to see. The one shown in Wikipedia is outdated.

    As long as you see a white check mark in a green dot in Security Center like below, you are okay. [​IMG]

    This change was introduced in the Insider Preview a couple of months back. It shows in the "Creator" update.

    i don't find now , but I remember see an old icon somewhere. so I preocupied about this. I will try to locate where.

    If you read the Wiki - you would see it related to Vista!!
    I would imagine that the icon used in all current MS info would be the latest icon. Does it matter what icon is used? A wall - to protect. A shield - to protect.;)
