    I am supposed to have a toolbar item to add a contact but it is not there. How do I add it?

    Are you needing to access them in Windows Mail?

    If so, try File->New->Contact

    You also should have a drop down button to the right of the Send/Receive button.

    No. I just use Windows Contacts as a store for contacts. When I set it up, I migrated the contacts from an old piece of software using the import facility.

    Now I want to add a contact. The Windows help file says that I should have an add contact icon on the toolbar but it is not there. I seem to recall the same problem in Vista about another Windows feature which got resolved via this forum but in searching my old posts, I can't find it.

    There must be some place in Wibndows to add discretionary icons to the toolbar but I can't find ir.
