    Hi
OK maybe I'm a little unobservant, but I just noticed Windows CardSpace in my Control Panel, I'm not sure I like what I've read about it.

Any one know anything that I should know?

Part of dot net 3.0, the potential replacement for Passport. I don't see any problem having it.
    Windows Cardspace
    FAQs

AFAIK, when a site requests the info you get a prompt to select which "card" to use. And I would think one could not use it at all. In other words, there's no info a site could request-collect unless you fill in a card with the info first.

Note: there's no stored data until a card is created by you.

If don't want or don't use Windows Cardspace then disable it:
    Start > Run > services.msc > Windows CardSpace > Properties > Startup type: Disabled
