windows cannot access specified device path or file

Hi,

First time poster here.

When trying to start an application on Win7, I am getting the following error message.....

windows cannot access specified device path or file

I have tried.....
re-installing the software.
running as Administrator.
running in safe mode.

Running in Safe Mode does work, but I'm not sure what this is telling me.

I have seen references on other forums to "unblocking" the software, and how to do this, but I was wondering if anyone here has had this experience, and what they have done to resolve it.
