I recently tried to update my BIOS on my Intel Motherboard. The program was able to update the BIOS but something failed in the process. I am using Vista Home Premium on this computer. Now when I start the system, the Windows Boot Manager comes up first. How do I stop this from appearing? I have not been able to find anything on hiding the boot manager only removing it.

    Welcome Dubbi,

This link may be helpful in solving your problem; I'm not sure what you're talking about, so if you need more help, please be more detailed. Updating the BIOS has no effect on how an OS boots.

    Windows Boot Manager

Thank you for replying. I was able to resolve my problem and it was related to the NEW windows boot manager in VISTA and the BIOS update that Intel had me install. The link that you sent me was for the old boot manager. In Vista, there is no longer a Boot.ini. Once I RE-installed an OLDER BIOS, the problem when away.
