How do I turn off this automatic graphics ..whatever it is that keeps me from viewing webpages properly? Sometimes I can view properly when I go to web sites and sometimes I cant. This windows automatic switching the graphics on and off is irritating!! Please help. Also..fonts are large sometimes and then when the windows blue screen little box appears and says please wait...it changes them to smaller and graphics / backgrounds ...change and are not able to be seen on websites.
What is this? How do I stop it???

dbs - Welcome to the Board :)

I have not come across this problem before - does this occur only in Internet Explorer (which I assume you are using) or in Windows generally?

    A few suggestions ....

Could be some setting or corruption in your video drivers - try uninstalling and reinstalling your video card drivers and software.

Could be spyware or virus activity - are you running an antivirus program and are the definitions up to date?

Suggest you download Spybot and Ad-Aware SE through quicklinks in my signature, update them and run and fix any problems they find.

Download the trial version of Ewido. When installing, under "Additional Options" uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu ". Run Ewido and post the log here

If you are on dial-up, who is your ISP provider. Possible a "Acceleration" type program (sends compressed graphics) to speed up your "on-line experience ".
