I have a netbook with Windows 7 Home Premium SP1. I am trying to do a windows backup of C to a brand new SanDisk cruzer USB stick.

    The message I get is:
'This drive cannot be used to store a system image because it is not formatted with NTFS.'

What do I do to resolve this issue?

Thank you for the link. Yes I should invest in an external hard drive. I thought a USB drive was better than nothing. Thanks for the input.

Think of it kind of like one of those little paper cone cups at the water cooler. It will last for a little bit but, I wouldn't advise using it as a reliable water storage solution.

That's an analogy I can relate to. Thanks.
