    Hello,

I am running Windows 98SE and I was wondering is there any way I can lock or password protect Windows Explorer and keep someone from going in there and deleting files from the Temp Internet Files. This person ended up deleting some system files. So is there any way I can restrict Windows Explorer.

    Thanks!
    David

Hi, Yes you can but you will need a 3rd party app.
Most are not free. Try a search for eg "protect folder" with your search
    engine eg Google.
If you try to restrict a program such as explorer.exe with a password,
you will drive yourself mad - better to protect the data files you want to
    keep to yourself.
    Welcome here and
    regards
