I installed windows 98 second edition for a friend of mine, and found that it had not installed any of the typical games (freecell, solitaire, etc). Is there anywhere I can find these games, because my friend would like to have them. Or, could anyone simply send me a copy of them (particularly freecell) to Email address removed by Moderator for your security Thx!

Hi BB, you should be able to install the games using Add/Remove Programs -> Windows Setup tab.

98SE does not come with Freecell (good game :) ). See if somebody knows, otherwise I'll see if I can find were I got it.

    billibob,

On my Win98 FE system, the included games are Freecell, Hearts, Minesweeper, and Solitaire. As matt mentions, go to Add/Remove --> Windows Setup tab --> Accessories. Click on Details and Games will be listed. If you still don't get Freecell, let me know and I will see if I can email it to you.

Seems I may be thinking of Windows 95. Freecell appears in the list available to install (Windows Setup tab, under Accessories).
I know I was disappointed at one stage when it was not available. Must have been in Win 95.

You can go to Windows Update, and get those games installed.
