Windows 95 install question

i have an old computer (pentium 100) and its got DOS 6.22 on it now. i would like to put windows 95 on there (my dad still had an old copy) but its on a cd. When i turned the computer on and hit del for setup i set it so that it should boot from cd-rom (which is what win95 is on) but i guess the win95 cd i have isnt a boot disk. is there a way i can get win95 setup to run from dos or can i copy the files to 3.5 "?

 

well my whole problem is that with DOS it doesnt recognize my cdrom drive. i can only use a:\ and c:\, if i type anything else then it says invalid drive specified. Thats why i was wondering if i could make 3.5 disk's out of the cd.

 

i went to cdrom-drivers.com and found the driver for my toshiba 6202B but its for win98, they have a 6102B for DOS but im guessing that wont work? could i edit the DOS autoexec.bat and config.sys files to "see" the cdrom like i would for a boot disk?

sweet! it worked. now to dl the mouse drv and then i can see if i can load all my old games
