Windows 8.1 log on

Hi all.

I connected my Win 8 computer to the internet before I logged on for the first time so I opened up a Microsoft account and did whatever they wanted.

Now here is my question. Is there a way to log onto Windows 8 without going to my Microsoft account? (without screwing anything up that is?)

Hi desertbluesman. You can use this method to change over to a local user account, Change Microsoft live account to a local account in Windows 8.1.

Marking a thread as 'Resolved'

Once you have posted those details, when still looking at your thread, near the top (and bottom) of your thread you'll see the text "Mark Thread as Solved ". Click on it to mark your thread as solved.

If later you find that the problem has returned, and you had previously marked your thread as solved, follow the steps above. Instead 'Mark this thread as solved' you will see that in this case Mark this thread as unsolved is listed.
