Resolved Windows 7 Virtual PC, XP Mode

I've been working on this problem for a week and have yet to get it to work.

I have run the Hardware-Assisted Detection Tool. It said my hardware is capable to run the Virtual PC.

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate and it runs fine. For older programs I want to run the XP Mode thru the Virtual PC. Every time at the very last second when the XP Mode is installing, at the last micron of the green process progress line the error is simply: "Could not complete setup. Please try again. "

I have only a few more hairs on my head since pulling them out.

Assuming former versions are removed, which program installs first, Virtual PC or XP Mode?

Thanks for taking the time to offer your assistance.

I discovered this morning that there are issues with Virtual PC and Windows XP Mode running in a system with an AMD Bulldozer multi core processor.

Microsoft support found that there is a Hotfix for this situation. The Hotfix applied cleared the path for what is a pretty easy process that Intel processors with fewer cores. As soon as I can figure out how I will mark this as "Solved. "
