Windows 7 Slow as

Hi

Using Rc version of Windows 7 for some months now and its getting slow.

I had no trouble then over the last couple of weeks i have noticed its slowed up!

Booting is okay i think. Justr when its booted and however long the pc is on and unattended its still slow when launching programmes and even say opeing control panel or clicking on all programmes its way too slow. Also windows media player starts up slowish and when you click the x to close it can take over 5 seconds for it closes? Other programmes very similiar.

any ideas anyone. I've tried most things

 

Yes and the problem is all the time. i.e i can be working away for sometime and everything i open such as ie explorer, windows explorer any programms their all slow top open. Even selecting within the programme itself is slow and also closing it. I can have a video running in windows media player and click the X to close it and i can watch another 5 seconds of video as it takes that long to close???
