Wasn't sure whether to post here or in Hardware, but I'm going to clean install Windows 7 (have Vista now)....can I leave USB devices connected to my PC during the install? They include my keyboard and wireless mouse, as well as printer, external HD and UPS. Thanks.

Do the clean install, then one by one, add printer, external HD and UPS. This will make the overall installs go smoother. You will need the keyboard and mouse to do the Win 7 install, keep them connected.

I did the opposite Joe,after trying all the beta issues. For the installation of the RC I connected everything. Two printers, a scanner, USB hub, external HD ffor back-ups, and the second screen.
The install went smoothly, and Windows 7 found, and downloaded, all the latest drivers except for the graphics card, which was still only a beta. It all worked as it should for me.

I leave everything connected as well.

I would only disconnect anything if I run into a problem.

Thanks, I've never installed an OS so I wanted to be sure.
