   Computer naive here. how do I correct the error message "default mail carrier not installed properly" when I attempt to respond to an email? Can you set yahoo as the default in windows 7?

   You have to install a mail client in Windows 7 first.
   
   This may work: How can I make Yahoo! Mail my default email application?
   
   I say may because I haven't tried it myself.
