I have an Acer Aspire One PAV70 running Windows 7 Basic and cannot connect to to several sites requiring cookies... no online banking, etc.

The settings across the board on the Netbook match, almost exactly, the setting on my Toshiba Satellite C655 running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit. This laptop connects anywhere!

Steps I have taken include resetting all cookies, allowing all cookies, excluding the banking site from any kind of check, adjusting security levels everywhere (internet options, security center, firewall).

    Yet the problem persists.

The problem shows itself in ALL browsers, which indicates to me that it is system level.

Advice, thoughts, and sledgehammers by mail appreciated.

    Shawn

    Welcome to BBS,

Try this quick fix, it may just work.

Control Panel, Internet Options, Advanced Tab, click on the Reset button to return all IE settings to there default.

If you have a third party firewall switch it off.

One other thought, is this Netbook fully up to date with microsoft updates.
