During the creation of a "System Image ", I received an error that stated that errors were found on the backup media (a DVD).
This happened during the verify stage.

Question: Can i just replace the dvd and continue or must i start over?

    thanks,

I've never used DVDs for a system image. When I used Windows Backup I always created the image on an external drive.

Having said that, I highly doubt you can replace just the one DVD where you got the error, how would you do that? If Windows Backup isn't offering you to replace it (which I doubt it would), you'd have to create a new image.

I shudder to think how many DVDs a system image would require!

Was afraid that would be the answer.
    thanks, Arie,

We have a service at the computer club that if members (over 1050
members now) will bring in a new PC, laptop or desktop, we will set
it up for them. Including getting rid of junk\trials\other not needed
software but also creating a system image/repair disk and xfering
    their data files.

All our members are over 55 and some have never owned a PC before.
We also provid many training classes free for them.

I have used as few as 3 DVDa, up to 12 Dvds for a system image . Can
take up to 5 hours or as few as 2 depending on system specs.

    Thanks again,
