Hi All, .......... I originally posted this condition in the Firefox forum but since then I have decided that FF is having problems with Win7. First, the problems: With FF versions 3.6.13, 3.6.14, and 3.6.15 individually installed in Win7 none of these versions will open any link supplied in Thunderbird. Also, I cannot open a second FF site even with the original site minimized. To get to the 'second site' I must reboot the computer.

My computer has a dual boot arrangement of Win7 and WinXP and I now do most of my work with Win7 so that any additions in the past several months have been included in Win7. Alternately, WinXP has FF version 3.6.13 and does not have the problems as given above.

So my question is: What must I do with Win7 (without losing all the additions) to eliminate the the incompatibility and install the later FF updates? Incidentally, later this week I will be getting an external drive for backups but I'm not sure of any procedures to use in which this might be useful.

I have no issues with FF .13/.14/.15 on 7 home premium 64bit with SP1.

I seriously don't think this is a windows 7 issue, perhaps best to revisit your other thread letting us know if you've tried starting FF in safe mode?
