The Windows 7 All Programs List does not show all the programs installed. For instance, Firefox and Explorer are among those not listed.

    How can I correct this?

    Thanks for the reply.

I have scrolled through the entire list. Firefox and Internet Explorer are not there. Also, neither of them appear in the recently opened programs list that the start orb opens. If I had not created shortcuts for those programs when installed it would be clumsy opening them.

The All Programs shortcuts you see in Windows 7 are located in two different locations. The easiest way to get there is to click the Start orb, right-click All Programs, select either Open or Open All Users and then double-click Programs.

The Open option takes you to a Start Menu folder that contains items only visible when you're logged into Windows with your name. The Open All Users option opens a folder of items available for all users of your PC.

Drop a copy of whatever shortcuts you like into any of these folders and it should appear when you click the Start orb > All Programs.

Sorry, I opened this thread in the XP list. Should have been the 7 list. I just moved from XP to 7.

Your suggestion did the trick. I have no idea what I just did or why they didn't appear in the list in the first place.

    Thanks again.
