Our 3 Citrix servers are restarting. Here is the dump log. I have examined and it is something to do with connections not being released. Any advice on this is appreciated.

Probably the best thing to do is to go to Microsoft Support Services, and select an option to "open" a support request.

You can use the log file (debuglog.txt) generated to supply the needed information to start your support request.

Our "resident" debug troubleshooter will be unavailable for a while.

    In summary - uninstall SP1.

There are numerous people with this "kind" of problem, me included. I opened a support case with ms, their response.

"So far, all of the reported problematic servers are with Windows 2003 Server and Service Pack 1 (SP1). Based on our experience, uninstalling SP1 can be considered as a temporary workaround before the fix is released. "

Note: I had to re-install TS licensing after uninstalling SP1.

    Uninstalling sp1

Is this a definate reason why this is happening?

Will my problem definately be fixed after uninstallation?

    Probable.

Will my problem definately be fixed after uninstallation?

    Probably.

At worst it is something else and removing SP1 doesn't fix things. You can always load the SP back on. But some google searching will certainly bring up quite a few folks with a problem that sounds very similar and that was fixed by removing the SP.

There is an open investigation at microsoft on the Stop ABs like you are getting. No known solution but rollback or suffer at this time. You can open a ticket with PSS or watch the knowladge base for an update.

    2003 Server reboots constantly

    Hi Everyone,

I've got a "dumb" question. I understand uninstalling SP1 may solve my reboot problem but how do I do that when the machine barely gets past the POST and reboots?

This is my first experience with 2003 server and it has been a pain so far.

    Thanks,
    Chandler

    We've got this problem too.
our farm is running windows 2003 ent sp1 + citrix metaframe xp + sp4.

i think that is happening because of windows 2003 sp1.
