    Dear All,
I have problem with my Windows Server 2003 enterprise edition. This Server is keep on restarting and it fail one it is on the way to load Windows and there is no any error which is appear during it restart. So once it fail to load Operating system it reboot again and try again to load Operating systems and it repeate the same process all the time.
So is any suggestion about solution of this kind of problem, since I don't want to format this Server because it is Domain Controller.

    Regards,
    Muddy nice

Is there any consistency? Does it always crash at the same point in the boot sequence, or is it variable?

If the latter, I'd be looking for a hardware problem. Faulty CPU, motherboard or Memory typically cause this kind of thing. If the former, I'd start by looking at software issues.

However, as we are moving into summer at the moment, the first thing to look at is, is this an over-heating problem! If the CPU over-heats it will just shut down and cause a crash like the one you describe. If you leave the server for a while to cool down, does it then boot OK?

If it does look to be an over-heating problem there are a couple of things you can do before looking for things like faulty fans or dislodged heat-sinks:
    • Make sure that vents are not covered and that there is plenty of room around the server for air to circulate.
    • Make sure the room the server is in is well ventilated and/or cooled (for example by an air-conditioning unit.
