Hi I have got a Live windows 2003 server setup working fine with no probs and i installed a test windows 2003 server with AD installed for my practice. But this setup was seperated from my live one. But when i connected my test server to the internet to download some updates, some of the client computers belonging to the live server will take my test server's ip as their DNS servers. Could any of you please help me how can i avoid my client computers in my live environment taking test server's ip address as their DNS server??

If the PCs are on the domain i think by default they take the server's DNS. to avoid this just manully set the DNS settings through the options for your NIC. set them to your ISP's DNS

As noted Here you can use DHCP to assign the DNS server(s) you want the clients to use.

The clients need to get DNS requests from the Domain Controller not the internet.
Long delayed logins are just one of many side effects from clients not getting their DNS requests from the DC.
