Windows 2000 upgrade from 98se installed Outlook Express 6.0. In Windows 98se I had Outlook Express 2000. Forgive my ignorance, but I can't figure out which version is the newer one. I went to Help - About Outlook Express 6.0, but there's no copyright date there. If OE 2000 is newer, can I just reinstall it over OE 6.0? Or do I have to uninstall 6.0 first?
    Thanks.

Thyere is no such thing as Outlook Express 2000.
In your older system you had Outlook Express 5.x or you had Outlook as a part of Office 2000.

Outlook Express 6.x is the latest version and Outlook as a part of Office XP is the latest version of that one.

Outlook Express and Outlook are 2 different programs, OE is free from MS and Outlook is the full blown mail application that comes with Office.
