Windows 2000 Update

    Error 0x800A138F

    ON Windows 2000 Microsoft update page I get the error above. I turned off the Virus check for Norton Anti-Virus. Also turned off publisher's update certificate on the advanced tab of Internet Options of Internet Explorer as instructed on the troubleshooting page of Windows Update. Have installed Windows SP3 also.

    Take a look Here.

    It's the best non-tech how-to for dealing with that error that I've seen. If it doesn't get you going, post back but you'll have more specifics about your issue.
