    HI all,

I have a old server installed with windows 2000. There are a lot of share files and appropriate rights assignment to it. Recently, we acquired a new server installed with windows 2000 ( same domain ).

I would like to know how to transport all the files and the necessary rights assignment from one server to another server.

    Thanks.

    ghost

most likely the easiest wat (read not the MS way) would be to ghost the old server to the new one. You might need to sysdiff or what ever it is I can't remember right now, command first.
