Does ANYONE have the Kodak DC290 camera working with Windows 2000 ? YES I have downloaded the latest software! I have tried this on two separate 2000 systems, to no avail. I get the device error (yellow marker of death).

I called Kodak, they sent me software, the CD would not load on W2000...

I do DUAL boot W98 and W2000 and the camera works fine under W98. I then assume it is not a USB problem. Everything else that uses USB on W2000 works fine, eg. Zip drive, Card readers etc.

    Please advise.

    And here is the confirmation:

I have the same problem with win 2k and a kodak dc265 camera for which kodak will not provide usb drivers. I solved the problem by buying a usb flashcard reader and it works great. Actually more convenient than having to tie up the camera.
