    (Win2000 Pro SP4, 2.4GHz Dual-Core, 2GB RAM, 1066MHz FSB, ATI 3650 HD 1GB Videocard)

I recently installed Win2000 again and I'm having issues with the Desktop Icons which are they're discolored/disfigured(?):

I fixed it before, like 4 years ago, but I forget how.

    Any suggestions?

Hi Bagwhaler. Welcome to Windowsbbs! :) Based on your screenshot it looks like you are running your system on a low color bit. Right click on the desktop and click properties. Click the advanced tab. Make sure that under color its on the highest color bit. Click apply and ok when you are done.

More than likely after you installed Win 2000 you didn't check your device manager..
allot of times windows will not setup say the sound/video drivers or you internet.
look to see if your video is at default, you may have to install your drivers. If they are installed , then set them to 32bit..
