News Windows 10 software condemned by Which?

    Microsoft has been criticised over its Windows 10 software by consumer rights group Which?.

    The body said it had received hundreds of complaints about the upgrade, including lost files, emails no longer syncing and broken wi-fi and printing.

    In some cases, it said, users had had to pay for their computer to be repaired.

    Microsoft defended its software and highlighted that it provided help online and by phone.

    My camera still works OK. My W10 comps all work OK. I never had an auto install of W10. I've had complete control over the upgrade when I wanted it - even left the wife's comp till 26th. July before doing the upgrade - NO PROBLEMS!!!
    I endeavoured to follow all of MS guides before and during upgrades and found it straight forward and 100% successful. If this was a major problem there would be millions complaining world wide. Just another media beat up.
