I have a friend who is having difficulty using Outlook Express (w/ XP and in conjunction with MSN) - in that when the messages in the mail box are opened, they appear partially off center (to the left) such that about 1/4 of the message is off screen. We are unable to drag the message over. Seems to be a problem with 'tile' / 'cascading' view of the messages - but I can't figure it out.

    Does anyone have a suggestion?

If it is a problem with cascading or tiling windows, with OE and at least one message open, right click on the taskbar and see if there is an "Undo Cascade" or "Undo Tile" available. If so, click on it and see if that corrects the problem.

Thanks, Miz, your comment was helpful since with the right click I was able to at least move the message and read it. I was not, however, able to bring up a 'remove cascade or tile' or other similar option. As a result, each time I click on a new message, it's still displayed slight off screen (to the left).

    Any other suggestions ??

Hey! I went back and re-read your message and saw that I didn't have the cursor positioned on the task bar when I right clicked. Sure enough, I was able to get the 'view bar' and remove what ever was causing the tiling.

Thanks for the input .... you solved the problem !!
