Windows Vista window media player not responding

    I usually put that behaviour down to errors in the registry. If it is a "normal" program, I uninstall and reinstall the program. WMP does not have an uninstaller.

    Try a System Restore to a time before the problem started happening. If you used some sort of registry "cleaner ", go back to a time before you used it.
