Resolved window mail in Windows 10

    Will I be able to open/read my saved e-mails from Windows Essentials 2012 in my "backed up documents folder" when I install Windows 10?

    Hi voltigeur. What e-mail client are you using currently? If its Windows Mail from Windows Live Essentials then it should work ok but if you run into trouble with the program then you may need to reinstall Windows Live Essentials once the Windows 10 upgrade has completed.

    I use the Windows Live essentials 2012. Thank you for the reply. I thought that I would lose the Windows Essentials 2012 after upgrading to Windows 10 on our PC with Windows 7.

    As long as you tell the Windows 10 setup to keep your files, programs, and settings then the program should be migrated over.

    Windows Live Mail 2012 Worked fine for me. I had it already before I upgraded from 8.1 and it worked fine after I upgraded. Yes you can still download Windows Essencials 2012.
