    Vista 32/64bit, SP1.

Is there a way to set a window screen location and also a
way to make it a certain size.

My windows (like opening "Computer" or just a harddrive)
always opens in the upper left-hand corner of the
monitor and covers around 3/4 of the total screen area.
Would like each window to open centered on the screen.
Of course, multiple open windows would require re-locating.

My icons are spread around the outside edges of the monitor
leaving the center clear. A centered window would allow
me access to all the icons without having to constantly
    move/adjust any open window(s).

Open it, move/size it to the required position/size. Don't open any sub folders/files, just close it.

Open it and it should have maintained the position when it was last closed.

That didn't work for me. Windows stayed the same and ignored what i had done.
I know this works in XP tho.
