WIN98SE Prgm. list

    When transfering programs across a network the Start|Programs list does not show the name of the prgm. in the list. Apparently only a prgm. installation will place the name on the program list. Can the same be accomplished manually ?

    Yes. The way I do it is to goto the program you want to place in the programs list and create a shortcut to place on the desktop. Then right click on the start button, click open. Open the program folder and drag the shortcut you created into the folder. Close the folder and you're done.
