I am having problem to run Win98 SE with two network interface card.

It seems only one is always active at a time.

How can I solve this problem?

Hi ecagan. Please do start~run~winipcfg then click the button for details and copy the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway from each network card and post the information here.

Also a little detail if you would. Is the problem PC with dual NICs acting as an ICS host? If so, are you connecting to the other PC(s) directly or thru a hub or switch? And when you say that only one is active at a time, exactly what problem/symptoms/behavior are you seeing?

Well dissapointed rather than being mad. But solved the problem.
The Windows 98 is not designed to support two NIC at a time.
I have a loptop that has two NICs (one for LAN, one for wireless to share the broadband internet connection).

When the second NIC is recognised by Win98, you loose the connections that suplied by the first one.

The answer is routing. If you have set proper routings between networks, everythings works fine.

    Thanks for your interest.
