win98 trouble

    i know i am behind the times.....but... i tried to upgrade to win98 from win 95 and the error i get is ..you already have an operating system.... you must obtain win 98 upgrade... HELP! :eek

    Rename the file named win.com in your windows folder and then try installing 98 again.
