Athlons are known for stability issues caused by inadequate cooling... Make sure your CPU fan is suitable
Most newer motherboards allow you to monitor the CPU temp, fan speeds, etc. And some will shutdown the computer if the CPU reaches a certain temperature..

You should read the manual for your motherboard and make use of these features and browse around your BIOS setting as well.

Apart from the overheating issue, other hardware components may be cause instability issues do to conflicts, etc. - check your event log for any alerts

Finally, there may be certain software running which will cause the computer to reboot to due an error with the software

    Hope this helps! good luck
