Just installed Win98SE. When I boot-up, a window labled (Microsoft Networking)
pops-up, with a red dot and a X inside it. The window says:
Unable to load the dynamic link library
    msnp32.dll
The system cannot find the file specified
Some or all of the following feature not available:
    Microsoft Network
I then click (OK) and the system continues to boot into Windows.
What remedy is there for this problem..............................Thanks Lennie

Maybe corrupt or missing need to use sfc to extract a new one from the win98 cd and place it in the \system folder. How to.....

    Easier explanation here:

If the above does not solve your problem...
In many cases it is not just this file but "client for microsoft networks" that needs an uninstall-reinstall.

This is another easy to follow how-to reference of the above ms howto, but again you'll need the CD:

And just for overkill....from windowsbbs archives:
    http://www.windowsbbs.com/showthread.php?t=15823&highlight=msnp32.dll

The archives are full of past posted problems. At this point in time, there probably isn't to much that can't be found in them, when it comes to win98xx. I know there has to be more related to this issue but the above should do it.
