I'm just wondering if I can put Mp4 videos in the Windows Live MovieMaker since the last time I came across with this was in our desktop PC that downloaded Windows Live Essentials. As much as I like Windows 7, MovieMaker is important to me. I'm used to Vista MovieMaker and I am very sad it wasn't included in Win7.

UPDATE: I had some issues with Live Movie Maker as Beta as I can't put videos in the TIMELINE nor can edit videos. I was just annoyed on the Live MovieMaker.

Are there any issues with the Live MovieMaker? Can I have the same experience with Vista MovieMaker?

I've see the MovieMaker from the Microsoft Website but that was the beta. I sure hope I can have the same experience from Vista's as I will sacrifice my Windows Vista to Windows 7 in a couple of days (Friday or Saturday - China Time/day)

    Tested.
I just opened and edited an mp4 in Windows Live Movie Maker on 7.
note: when you install Windows Live you don't need to install all the Windows Live components that come with it.

I don't have access to Windows 7 yet so I will just say thanks for your time. I will definitely rest as I know someone had tested Live Movie Maker.

My mp4 files are from my phone and I would love to compress them for uploads in the future.

I'll mark this solve when I finally have Windows 7 this weekend.

    Regards,
    Chris

This work in Vista, right? Yeah...I've read the SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS so why wait for Windows 7 when I can test this one on Vista. Hopefully, it will not conflict with Vista Movie Maker but why worry when it'll be the last time I will ever use Vista Movie Maker.
