I have a question about what's advertised from MS about Win7 3 computer upgrade license to the Home Premium edition . Because I will be upgrading from XPPro, does this package have the DVD's and will a clean install be possible on each computer? The price of this offer is $150.00. Thanks...

The package will contain 1 DVD, and 3 Certificate's of Authenticity. You would use 1 license for each computer.
An Upgrade can do a clean install, but you must have a qualifying MS Windows installation disk as proof, you will be prompted for this disk during the install. An OEM or Recovery disk probably will not work.

    Windows 7 family pack

Thanks... Can you define "a qualifying xp disk "? I bought a retail box version of XP Pro on EBAY a few years ago. Seems that it was a pirated copy. Too late to do anything about it. Thats why I will go to Win7. Thanks

First - you don't upgrade XP to Win7...You REPLACE XP with Win 7.

To use an UPgrade version of Win 7 you must have a licensed/activated version of XP up and running. It will then wipe out XP and do a fresh install of Win7.

A pirated copy will not qualify for the 'upgrade' pricing.

Are you currently able to perform monthly Microsoft updates on this computer??
If yes, what makes you think you have a pirated copy??
If no, and it is a pirated copy, track down all your eBay purchase information and contact eBay. If seller is currently active, possible for
eBay officials to resolve and force original seller to provide a legal copy. If you purchased using a CC, get them involved ... they can charge back part of the original purchase to cover your cost for legal copy.

so, my sis has WIndows XP Media 2005. All I need to do is install Windows 7 like a normal program or do I need the XP CD? It's an OEM that, I think, acts like a normal retail one except it has a logo of that OEM-retailer at the end of the installation.

From what I understood, it will replace XP in a way that my current XP is activated. If I need to re-install it, I should install XP or I must insert the disc of XP then proceed with the installing?

The first one is simple but re-installing it is another as I heard that the activation of the previous OS is now void. Hmmm...
