win2k3 server "sourcesafe" type option

    Is there a feature in windows server 2003 that can allow there to be a designated folder that can be accessed by several users, but only one user can have it open at a time? Kinda like source safe, or the way access creates a lock file,, thanks in advance!

    In the place where you set your sharing properties there should be an option to set "Max number of users ". It's default is set to "maxium ", but I believe if you set this to one only one person will be able to open it at a time.
