win2K system won't automatically shutdown

    When all apps have stopped the system displays the message 'It is now safe to trun off your system'

    How do I get it to do an automated system shutdown?

    Correction this behavior happens when you click on SHUTDOWN and the computer has complted it's shutdown, it will not turn off the machine.

    Thnaks Newt it worked the item was not checked inthe BIOS.
