WIN2k SERVER ftp

    Hello

    Newbie here

    I run linux servers but needed a NT server so I install win2k server I log in remotly added a user to host aa site for him but when he tries to use frontpage for his site or ftp access is denied is there attributes or somethign I need to set and someone plese help me. thanks

    I have AIM name is Kryptoniz3d

    Ho hobo and welcome.

    Could you explain the setup and the specific error in a little more detail?

    - Can he ftp into the server at all? If not, can he see it at all?
    - Are you both on a LAN or on different networks?
    - Is he behind a firewall that doesn't have ports 20/21 open?
    - Can others connect via ftp without problems?

    And any other detail you want to include.
