My neice just got a new Dell system. She will be the computer administrator. There is a 5 year old in the family who will use the computer. Would it be best for her to allow the 5 year old to simply use the GUEST account or create a Limited account for him?

I would create an account with an easy username and the same as the password and then put that account only in the Guests group.

It does give a limited account for the little one so limited amount of possible damage but also a sense of ownership which should make a little one happy.

As I'm the only user on my computer and I don't use a password, I'm not too familiar with user accounts. If she does what you describe above, when her system boots, under the GUEST account it will show the kids account?
