Win ME to XP change owner

Upgraded Win ME to XP Home with out any problems. The machine was previuosly owned and that owner Hans?? appears in C:\Documents and Settings\Hans\My Documents. I want to change the owner?? to myself (C:\Dxx\Joe\Myxxx. I have tried the MS Knopwledge base but am not sure what is there to help me. What I found was how to move the folder etc?
I am not able to just change the name even though my information of favorites etc. are under the Hans section?
Any Help will be appreciated.

You need to Create and/or Change the User Account.
Go to Control Panel and open User Accounts.
