WIN 98 free AV proggie?

I need to revive an old WIN98 machine to xfr files from an XP machine which is getting "wobbly "... Since the WIN98 machine is going to be online for a bit, I DO want to have it protected but can't seem to find a good free AV programme for WIN98. All my google searches show (e.g.: AVG Free for WIN98 (and a link) ) but each of those throws me inot the AVG 9.0 d/l page which will not run on WIN98.

As I only need it for about a week, I'd really like to avoid spending money on this...

Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

Finding one that works with 98 is getting hard to find. I been using this one. http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html The only thing is you have to register to use it.
