win 98 first edition

    Can you use linksys wireless card and linksys usb network adapter on a win 98 machine ?

    John,

    You should be able to run a linksys router with Win 98 1st ed and a USB adapter but WHY? You like runing the system in slow mode?

    USB ports on the older systems was 1.1 and that limited speed/throughput. USB is also not the preferred method of connecting ANY PC. Why not use an Ethernet card? It is so much faster than a USB interface and so much more robust.
